Carrier Ethernet Service Differentiation – survey results Part 3

In Part 2 of this series, we reviewed the technical features that service providers believed were important differentiators.
In Part 3 we explore the business related attributes that service providers believe are most important to help differentiate their Carrier Ethernet offerings. It turns out that the business-related feature that was most important was the company’s brand, followed closely by customer experience features (See the chart below). The top business attributes include:
· Turn up new services quickly
· Responsive customer service
· Make adjustments and changes to service quickly
· Rapid troubleshooting of network problems

In part 4 of this series we’ll wrap this up with a review of the key findings and some perspective on what this might mean for Carrier Ethernet services in the future. You may download the complete summary report at the Overture Networks website.
