    1. What Must Happen for Carrier Ethernet to Replace SONET/SDH at the Network Edge?

As we mentioned last week, we have been hearing from a number of our readers that they are frustrated that there is little information available about how service providers and their customers view Carrier Ethernet as a technology to replace SONET/SDH in their transport and access networks – so we decided to do something about it.

The Carrier Ethernet News team developed the short online survey for service providers that takes five minutes to complete and asks just 12 questions about Carrier Ethernet as a SONET/SDH displacement technology.

If you are a service provider, we want to know how your views are similar or different from your peers and we want to share the results with you. So give us a hand, take this quick survey and we’ll report back with the results in a series of articles on Carrier Ethernet News. Or if you prefer, we’ll send you a notification when we’ve compiled the results. We’ll even publish a complete report, which will be available for download—all absolutely free.

The survey will only be open for 10 days, and the results are—and will remain—anonymous.  So go ahead, let your curiosity take over and complete the survey! You’ll thank us later.
