US School taps Bright House for Carrier Ethernet fibre network

US operator Bright House Networks has been awarded a multi-year services contract with Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) for the implementation and project management of a managed fibre-based network infrastructure that will connect every campus to the internet. As part of the agreement, Bright House Networks will construct a dedicated, private Metro Ethernet fibre network to connect all of Orange County Public Schools' 218 separate site locations.
