Eurofiber serves up 100 GigE services

   Eurofiber, a Dutch service provider, has launched a series of 100 GigE services to quench the Netherlands' bandwidth appetite. Initially, Eurofiber will offer the service to what it calls "heavy" network wholesale customers, including Internet exchanges, data centers, cable companies and Internet service providers. While wholesale customers are clearly a good fit for 100 GigE, Eurofiber believes the service will likely resonate with large multisite businesses.
