Pacnet expands Lightning to Chicago Mercantile Exchange

Asian communications provider Pacnet has expanded the coverage of Lightning to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the exchange for futures and options-on-futures in the United States. Pacnet Lightning guarantees secure lowest-latency point to point connections to stock exchanges for traders and market data vendors, for their information access and trading needs. It uses Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and Ethernet technology to connect traders with low latency bandwidth of up to 1 Gbps into the various stock exchanges.
