Fibertech begins expansion into Cincinnati market

Fibertech Networks, a privately-held company owned by Court Square, has begun its latest expansion into the Cincinnati market, taking on established players Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB) and Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) for business and government customers. Fibertech said it has signed up 10 area customers that will leverage the fiber for business services such as Ethernet. Mike Hurley, vice president of marketing and sales of Fibertech, would not reveal how much capital is being spent on the Ohio expansion.
