AAPT ups Ethernet over Copper speeds to 80 Mbps

(Telecompaper) Australian telecommunications infrastructure provider AAPT has launched its fastest Mid-Band Ethernet (MBE) service to date, with an Ethernet-over-copper service delivering up to 80 Mbps. In 2007, AAPT first launched MBE services with speeds of up to 40 Mbps. The improved service is available in 219 exchanges and the company plans to have the service available in 267 exchanges by the end of 2013.
