VTLWaveNet joins Equinix Ethernet Exchange

(Telecompaper) VTLWaveNet, part of the Viatel group, will participate in the Equinix Ethernet Exchange programme. The Equinix Ethernet Exchange connects buyers and sellers via a portal to discover, transact with and interconnect with each other. The agreement between VTLWaveNet and Equinix will enable customers of Equinix's International Business Exchange LD4/5 in Slough, UK to connect to Ethernet PoPs in cities on VTLWaveNet's Western European footprint such as London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris. Within the London metro, VTLWaveNet is offering a promotion for Equinix customers to connect to any one of five London Docklands sites.
