Scott has more than two decades of telecommunications industry experience; both from a service provider and equipment vendor perspective. Scott leverages his experiences in network architecture, advanced technology and finance planning at MCI and Verizon to drive product and solutions development at Overture. Scott has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas

ITU-T G.8032 is knocking down the last barrier to moving to Carrier Ethernet infrastructure. G.8032 is the standard for supporting multiple nodes on an Ethernet ring with 50ms protection switching.
